What sort of technologies are being developed to help mitigate the environmental impacts of oil recovery?

PTRC is working with a number of research organizations, primarily the Saskatchewan Research Council and the University of Regina Petroleum Systems Engineering Faculty, to develop a range of technologies suitable to Saskatchewan’s fields.  Though the focus is on developing technologies for Saskatchewan, many of these technologies may be exportable to other provinces and countries.
